SS GG Smacker Huge Profile Lightweight Cricket Bat SH 2.8 Grade 1. It has 7 even grains that run beautifully through the bat. The bat is all sapwood with no heartwood at all.
It is very well pressed and has a good mallet response which will only get better after proper preparation.
The edges come in at 38mm and the spine comes in at 64mm. The key with this bat is that the edges and spine peaks are very extended, offering a massive hitting area.
This special bat comes in at only 2lbs 8 and 2lbs 9oz which is ridiculous considering the sheer size of the profile. It picks up really well and feels great in the hands. The GG Smacker range has a slightly bigger handle knob which acts as a small counterweight to assist the pickup.
